Prescribing Biking!

Bikeable city is a project consisting of several solutions that enable and favour the emergence of travel patterns at the district level, in which cycling becomes a dominant feature.

Living Cities has joined forces with a consortium of municipalities, region Stockholm, UX-designers and NGOs to develop a concept for prescribing physical activity to patients and caretakers which focuses on biking.
The project aims to meet the public health challenge of a Swedish population that is moving less and less, with an increased risk of physical and mental health.
