Sustainable and Inclusive Urban Development in Palu and Probolinggo

The project supported urban development stakeholders in two Indonesian cities Palu and Probolinggo in conducting an urban sustainability review and action plan.The overall goal was to improve capacity, knowledge and prerequisites for urban sustainability by providing opportunities to learn and apply methodologies and tools for sustainable urban solutions, ultimately contributing to improved living conditions for the four municipalities’ inhabitants.

The project involved cooperation with two Swedish municipalities – Borås and Helsingborg – together with the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and other local stakeholders.
